I'm kind of amazed and gratified to see that freckles and blushed noses/exaggerated blush are so fashioable right now. I got into makeup to HIDE my natural flush and freckles -- wish my junior high self could have seen that the look would be glam one day.

I'm sooo glad Limecrime brought their freckle pen back as I finished up mine and really enjoyed it! I like it to make my sunspot look cuter & bring my moles back after foundation application. Thanks for the comparisons!

Im glad they did too because I didn't try out the one from last year! I love that it helps you bring out the freckles that get hidden by foundation. So many great reasons for freckle pens!

I’m hopeful for the Amber shade, your swatches have it looking more warm than Cocoa. I have Sunkissed from last year and it is the exact color of the existing freckles on my face. Thank you for the swatches!

Freckles look so natural on you! I agree that amber fits you best, I think that might be the best match for me! I already have natural freckles, but the foundation usually hides them, so i should definitely try something like this! Very informative and helpful video 💖

I just reviewed these today too! The Amber looks great on you! The cocoa one is LITERALLY the same shade as my real freckles! My husband couldn’t figure out which were real and which were fake! Thanks for the comparisons! Also, don’t feel weird about wearing freckles, they look soooo good on you!!!

I have the lime crime one in Amber and as a redhead with freckles on the rest of my body but not my face, it looks really natural! My only gripe with it is I wish the felt tip was a little smaller. I have a tendency to make my "freckles" too big if I'm not careful.

Amber is good for cool or neutral tones, if you notice most natural freckled red heads have cool tone skin and orangey freckles. Whereas the deeper lime crime one would be good for warm/golden tone skin.

I could see that but I have a warm undertone and Amber looks much more realistic on me because it’s also warmer toned than Cocoa

Studio lighting/camera settings can throw tones off, if I put a neutral foundation on it looks pink 🙈

I owned the mini freck and I really love the color and tone I have a light medium skin tone and the freckles looked natural but just like you I didn’t really like the brush applicator also I feel like I used it up/it dried up kinda fast so it’s interesting to hear the the Lime Crime pens last longer

Oh idk if they last longer it terms of how many uses, but they lasted me 5+ on my face with minor fading but I was inside all day, I would assume if you’re oily in the T-zone like me you would naturally get some fading throughout the day though.

The Lime Crime pen never showed up on my skin and dried up almost immediately. Maybe I got a bad one. I LOVE my Freck and it lasts forever

I think it would depend on skin tone and how much pressure you place. For me, I can see the amber shade in the mirror/face to face. However, it's close to the same color as my natural freckles which aren't as noticeable if you're 6 ft away. So idk, I guess it depends. I did just get it today also, so maybe using heavier pressure would help to deepen the color. In your opinion tho, is freck different in terms of tone?

YES! I think the pens are so much easier to use and you can easily fade them out to what you're comfortable with!

I would say Amber! That’s the lighter shade. I cant imagine trying them with eyebrow gels or eyeliner, the color needs to be so specific!

Not waterproof, comes off easy with cleansing balm, and I have not tried henna freckles
