harriette morgan ... it’s absolutely amazing what other people are creating!! It truly makes me driven to make more and better tutorials 🤗🎨 I am beyond excited to see what subscribers are creating and I wanted to share their inspiration for others and create a community of positive ideas and growth. We all have to start from the beginning and if we can network together to get the results we would like to achieve. I remember searching high and low on “how to” resourcing anywhere I could and practicing over and over, it was tricky so my goal to to take the search out and make it much more simple for anyone to create fun decorative design and 💡 ideas. I really appreciate your feedback and support Harriette 🤗💕 thank you so much ☺️

You’re the first person to link amazon products! I really like that! When you buy from the sellers it’s so expensive even the water mister bottle Thanks for the links I’m getting started into chalk paint again, I used to do it years ago and am finally coming back around to doing it Do you only recommend Annie Sloan or have you used the Dixie paint too?

Amanda ... thank you so much 🙏🎨 for your kind comment and feedback 💙 I definitely try my best to have product links available not only for purchase on amazon but also reference as I am sure it really helps other to know based on products they may already have and compare or if they are interested to buy something and amazon is pretty safe and good shipping carriers. Glad to hear you back in the creativity side we all need to break away but it’s always there when your ready! 😉👍🏻 As for recommendations... honestly I tell people to use what you like!! Yes I adore the Annie Sloan products but that doesn’t mean one chalk paint product is better than another. I actually use AS mostly because I am happy with it and never any issues so like almost happy consumers I come back. I also appreciate her colour palate as I am huge about old world, Gustanavian and neoclassical furniture finishes and her colour palate is primarily already colourized for these finishes. I haven’t try Dixie belle paint but from what I see and hear it’s a god paint 🎨👍🏻. Thanks so much for watching and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime ☺️🤗

What finish/wax did you use on the bottom of the table? I didn’t see anything listed in the video or details. Also, the KZbin thumbnail makes the table top appear BLUE...not graphite. Is it just the light? 1 more question...have you had any experience with your “water wiz” pad shedding? Mine shed all over the place leaving little fibers and I had to sand and redo the top.
@TheReclaimedHeirloom
@TheReclaimedHeirloom 4 жыл бұрын
PJ Swan ... that’s really odd ... my meshing applicator “ water wiz applicator “ never shedded and I used it right away after taking the package off! When I did the Scandinavian pink Armoire I literally took the wrapper off and started filming it was brand new 🤔 Anyhow I recommend washing with a comb let it dry and maybe even use some good tape and apply it on the applicator and repeat to remove any remaining lint! I had that happen with a roller once when I was painting walls and that took care of the lint issue. As for the wax... if I remember correctly at the end I mentioned I was going to clear wax the whole table top and bottom as the glaze is not a sealer for chalk paint. I think I mentioned I was going to use dark wax around the edges and details and wipe it back for depth as to wax you can use any clear wax or dark you wish. I use AS but so many people use different products for chalk paint and would figure that applied to a personal choice on wax products, it’s totally up you and what is easiest for you to purchase. As for thumbnail I am guessing the black may have a blue hue because the thumbnail is another upload and it’s so tiny ? I’ll definitely take a look at that not to sure why other than the thumbnail caption 😉 Oh and if you are interested in Annie Sloan paint or wax you can find your local stockiest at anniesloan.com It’s unfortunately not offered on amazon as a product listing 🙄 PS... I hope you enjoyed the tutorial? 😉🎨💕
