Years ago I was the technical director at a San Francisco theater of some fame. Anyway we needed a set that looked like a deconstructed condo skyscraper loft place. Cool. So for the first meeting, I cut up some 8' strips of 1" blue foam, like two 6" and one 7" for the web and had only primer'd it in that iron red color, no aging or weathering. Stood it up in the meeting room, and a late arrival to our group came in and tried to swing around the fake I-beam with hilarious effect. The person was good natured about being fooled... lol
