Hi Kim, I just found your channel through Pinterest! I've seen the rice paper before, but always love to see others take on things. I never saw coffee or spices added though! Billiant idea, and why I like to watch others do the same things, to learn different ways to do something! I love the bottle you showed, with the rice paper tag. I've saved up several wine bottles and think I'll try that. Did you make a tutorial on the bottle itself too? I've subscribed, so will go and check your other videos, and thank you!

How Beautiful, how do you use your homemade rice paper, beside scrapbooking? 🌹🤗
@lisablackwelder1037 Жыл бұрын
Hi. I have the same question. The sheets are pretty but, I can't see the advantage of using this "rice paper" instead of just the napkin, when decoupaging. I use straight napkins that have the extra sheet or sheets removed. I paint my item with 1/2 Elmers glue & 1/2 water = "My Podge", place the napkin on top of "My Podge" and smooth it out, then immediately paint on another layer, let it dry, then paint at least 1 more layer of "My Podge". If I'm covering a table top or trinket box or anything that will be picked up or handled, I always repeat with 2 more a layers of "My Podge" allowing the layers to dry each time. Anyways....I probably missed something, not trying to be negative, but it seems to me this is a process I could skip, maybe I'm wrong. I'm a little skeptical about using this technique for gift tags as well, because of the material being translucent, it's difficult to read. I did enjoy this video, I love anything crafty and love to learn new techniques. I'm sure if I saw this in full swing, more than just the bottle, I would know what to do with this new found technique. I subscribed to this channel today. Thanks for the video. Best Wishes from Dallas, Texas USA ♥️
