I don’t have a video but it’s pretty easy. Where the bracket is, use your thump and gently but firmly push the plastic towards the window and the bracket should release.

If you take the beauty plate hooks. And position them where you're going to hang your window blind brackets. You can mark a line across the window frame where the beauty plate hooks are. Then position the window blind brackets where you marked your lines at. Using the beauty plate brackets as a guide. Mine was 9 inches on either side, measuring from the inside of the window blinds

So did you get 29 inch wide since it measured 29 1/2? For the wiggle room...
@TayMarie232 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are absolutely correct! Always subtract half an inch from your exact measurement, otherwise the blinds will be a pain to pull down :) That is for the width measurement, for the length you just want to make sure your entire window will be covered when the blinds are fully stretched. It’s better to go extra on the length if needed, never go shorter!

Just tell me how to exactly measure the blind 😅?? Do I have to minus 1 or 2 inches from sides when measuring the blind so they sit inside the window pane ?😊
@TayMarie23 Жыл бұрын
Take the exact window measurement and then subtract 1/4 inch from the left and the right…so in total the blinds should be a 1/2 inch narrower then the window width to allow for wiggle room!

Hi, Home Depot cut he blinds to size for you, so did they just trim just one side of blinds or both sides to keep even.
@TayMarie232 жыл бұрын
Great question! They trimmed both sides to keep the pulley strings even and centered. It would have driven me crazy if they hadn’t done that! I installed these blinds for both our house and for our rental, they were cut at two different Home Depots. Both locations trimmed off either side without me asking for that, so I’m assuming that is just protocol :) However, it wouldn’t hurt to confirm that before having them cut!
@nspencer772 жыл бұрын
I saw the measurements for the window, but what size did you buy since you said not to buy the exact size?
@TayMarie232 жыл бұрын
You want a 1/4in of wiggle room for each side so it’s easier to pull down. So take your exact measurement, subtract 1/2 in, and have them cut to that size if possible! Hope this helps :)

I'm honestly surprised that more screws don't come with each package. I feel like it should be 4 screws for each bracket and then two extras for the anchors if needed. But I guess that would make too much sense lol!
