The hole on the top of your clutch pencil is a lead sharpener. Might not get as pointy as you like, though.

Happy upcoming birthday! 💝🥳 Mine is on the 21st of April. Watercolor is a fun medium, but takes a lot of time to learn. Learning the right water to pigment ratio depending on the value you want is key. Hi! They are fun!! The lead is semi-erasable. I am able to lift about 50% of what I put down.

Your art is so lovely! Is the paint palette you are using watercolor or gouache, you mentioned both?

Thank you so much!! 😊 The paint is kinda like hybrid of the two. When used with a lot of water it’s like watercolor & when used with less water, you can build up the opacity similar to gouache. The description on Amazon says that it’s ink based pigment.

Colored pencils are so fun! They will always be on my favorite mediums to work with 😊 And they are too tempting for your nephew! 😆 💖 Glad he enjoys them too 😊
