Please stay positive .. some of the best things happen to us when were just about to give up ... Some thing that helped me a lot was taking 5 mins wen I first wake up and reciting everything I was thankful for in my life, that prevented me to unconsciously focus on the negative things in my life during my day... Stay positive!

I was sad every single day a couple of years ago, and when you're SO SAD nothing lifts up your spirits! I tried so many things... Going out... Trying to shop.. Watching a lot of TV.. You find no comfort until I realized I had to try and lift myself. You are very important youre a strong individual and you can do ANYTHING you want to do in life.. You have to tell yourself everyday "it's gonna be ok" "I'll be ok" I won't be stuck and sad forever" and every day just try a bit harder. You will get through it

I actually had a moment where I thought to myself, "Ohhhh, this is what it's like to feel normal." Whew, I started to type "be normal" instead of "feel normal." Glad I caught that.

I'm sitting here waiting to take scans to make sure i'm still in remission from bone cancer and that end part really got to me. I'm not sure if you'll see this but I watched A LOT of youtube while I was sick and 2013-2014 positively sucked but as cheesy and vain as it may sound make up really helped me. It helped me deal with the ugly side of cancer and losing my hair. It also sort of made me feel less alone. I watch you and a few others religiously and you guys really did start to feel like friends. I know what it's like to feel "stuck". The last part about 2015 being our year really helped calm my nerves a bit. Thanks for being my virtual friends through all the hard times even though you didn't quite know it. I'm wishing you nothing but health, success, and happiness for 2015

This video touched my heart on a whole other level. I have been watching your videos for quite some time & I have to say that seeing you get this far and grow so much yet stay so humble is absolutely the most inspiring thing. I normally don't get emotional but girl you made me straight up cry with you. 2014 was YOUR year! I am SO happy that things got better for you, it's amazing. That being said, you are amazing at what you do. I know you said you love sitting there and talking to us and making these tutorials but I don't think you understand how much you actually mean to all of your fans, how much you teach us, and most importantly how much you make us laugh. Just one more thing - You never have to apologize for working hard and getting things for free. You never have to apologize for a background that isn't 'perfect'. You never have to apologize for being sick, not doing your nails, being emotional, or not being perfect. No one is perfect and it's stressful to try to project perfection & strength all the time. I don't understand why people would throw hate your way for whatever reason. Those people are usually just very, very unhappy people who are trying to spread the pain. As my ex-step-dad (who was a therapist) used to say: "Hurt people hurt people." As in, people who are hurting tend to hurt those around them. They want to spread the pain and misery, but we don't have to take that on. It's not our issue, it's theirs. You are a beautiful person, inside and out. Please believe it. (And it's totally ok to cry, my friend. Don't keep that ish inside because it's toxic. Let that out.)

Kathleen, I just recently discovered you - I really enjoy you a lot! I started to cry with you girl! 2014 was my worst year and you tugged right at my heart when you mentioned how you were feeling 'stuck' at one point. That's exactly where I've been myself - stuck. I can't seem to find the right path (among dealing with a lot of other crap)... but I am really trying to stay positive. i just really want to say thank you so much for what you do. you may not realize how much you do for others but you have honestly changed my life. i started watching you in november and quickly subscribed. my dad was a Marine and is retired now but is still overseas. Ive literally grown up since the day I was born in a military family and it can be SO SO hard sometimes and these past few months for me personally have been probably the worst of my life. Missing a huge part of your life like your dad (or boyfriend) is terrible and seeing how strong and happy you are really helps me believe it or not because it reminds me that there are other girls just like me out there that have to deal with pretty similar things.
