Hey, what is your ratio for the second formula? 09 NB 09 GI 09V ?
@j.record7151Ай бұрын
It’s always interesting to hear what a person uses as their toner, since every client can process the color differently… but to not even mention how much of a toner that you use (1oz, 1/2oz, or just a cap full), well that’s no help at all. That’s like saying these are my ingredients in this recipe, but I’m not going to tell you how much to use. 🤔🤷🏼♀️ Measurements are just as important as the shade itself!

Great video as always. I have a quick question for you. I'm only doing my own hair now (no Clients at all). If I've lightened my own hair to a level 10 (inside of a banana peel light yellow) and I want just white (like snow white with no real ash reflect and definitely no warm or gold reflect) what would you suggest? I've been experimenting with 10P, 10T, 10NA, 10VV, and playing with adding in 10GI and Clear. Trying different formulas and not being happy with them is driving me crazy. Do you have any faves to suggest? Thanks honey!

Beautiful colours! Unfortunately, no hairdresser knows how to manage my hair when it lifts so I went on a DIY adventure.. 3 years in I'm still lost.. My roots only grab toner when lightened to a level 9 and even if an ash hue, it turns red soon after (no matter what blue or purple shampoo I use). Out of despair I bought redken 6T (iron) to try and cancel out as much as I could, it only made the hair darker (as expected) but the copper is still there.. Any tips? Should I just give up?

Maybe do a shadow root and blend to the hair lengths. I love that look. Lighten the hair to a 9 and tone the lengths at a 9 but do the roots at about a 5 or 6 neutral/ash. Guy Tang has a good one I think is called Dark Shadows.

sometimes you can’t get the exact shade you want using just one color you have no choice but to formulate for specific tones and situations , everybody’s hair is different so one formula may not look the same on another person
