I'm not really a fan of pale blondes but that was a great job. Seamless touchup. shows how what you were saying about detailing is all true. People who don't like detailed work shouldn't be stylists because the detail is necessary here or you won't get results like these. It drives me crazy sometimes lol but its worth it for the end result and then you charge appropriately.

question? At the sink are you using olaplex #2 for approx 10 mins, toner for approx 10 mins and the acidic milk rinse for approx 10 mins? I was just trying to calculate how much time it actually takes at the sink. If your answer is yes to my question then your video on "charging your worth" rings true in the fact that your spending 30-35 just at the sink rinsing the color. :)

I love your videos! Soooo helpful and I have a possibly silly question, how do you address clients that move around while you are trying to foil? Your clients sit so well lol i can't seem how to address this silly little thing without feeling bossy or rude i hate it. Thank you in advance!

Haha! That's always tricky. I usually tell them to try to keep their head still and then I say, "If you keep moving your head, it'll mess up the color ;)" And then, I just keep moving their head back to where I need it. Most clients get it. And for those who don't, you just have to be stern with them because it really can mess up their color. Hope that helps!

@@JamieDana it does! I never thought if it that way, clearly saying why it's important instead if just asking them to not move lol makes so much sense i new i just needed an outside of my head view! Thanks so very much! Also, Love your video in prices and knowing your worth and i believe another video that you suggested trying out another salon. I'm going to a high rated salon local to me next wk for a blowout to learn some tips & tricks. Please keep making those videos as well they do not go unnoticed!

I tell them in a firm voice to stop moving, and I always start the service by telling them they shouldn't move their head or it can mess up the color. I also move their head back gently when I need to and remind them every time. They are usually apologetic about it.

Hi Jamie first time commenting love your technique could you please tell me how long something like this takes you just for the foiling job? I feel very insecure at how long it took me to do a job like this. Thanks for your answer. 😁
