It is really tough, so many great releases each year. Here is a quick, gut instinct, don't think too much, result: 1980 - Sabbath and Ozzy 1981 - Sabbath - Ozzy & Priest (this was when I really started getting into priest) 1982 - Priest, Maiden & Kiss (in that order) 1983 - Dio, Metallica, Maiden 1984 - Dio & Queensryche 1985 - I saw Ratt on tour with Bon Jovi, great show 1986 - Metallica 1987 - Motley Crue or Frehley's Comet (debut album) 1988 - Queensryche
