Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for helping me each time I had a question for you about the car. I know you’re probably a busy guy and you have a lot of people following your content. I ended up installing my axel back on my 2015 q50 premium with Bose audio and all wheel drive. I chose the plm axel back. I couldn’t get a bolt off because it was too rusted for my socket to get around it so I looked around and eventually found the lowest price at a little muffler shop and they did it for $120 & it took them about 45 minutes. Impressed with the little bit of hp gain, felt like it almost lost a tiny bit of torque though. Installed the AFE air filters with it. Pulls a tad bit harder on the highway over 80 mph, enough to notice a difference. It sounds GREAT. I am just really impressed for the small amount of $400 I ended up spending. Sounds like it should sound. The cold start is MEAN, hahaha. Very quiet on the highway until you get on it. Feels like it belongs on the car like it should have came with it from the factory. Also installed some DWS06+ extreme contacts in 255/40/19 and it handles better now. I’ll do a couple other small mods than I’ll be done, keeping the exterior stock to stay under the radar, love the factory looks of the car…don’t wanna ruin it lol, hate when I do that with a car on accident and spend too much $. Gonna continue to just take care of the car…it’s gonna be around for awhile 😁 just rolled over 78k miles. Take care man !

something i got for mine that you didnt mention are the door puddle lights. when you open the door a logo will pop up on the ground. i got the one that is half the front of q50 and the other half says q50

You can but there’s no point really if you have stock cats. It’ll just sound stock then. Just do a muffler delete.

I believe quality control for Borla has been bad as of recently and they tend to break more often so everyone seems to be doing the magnaflow

I have a 2021 AWD luxe. For the exhaust, does the AWD make me need to buy other parts? and how much do you think the whole SCS custom exhaust will cost not including a downpipe because I will do that before hand. I also am wondering what down pipe u recommend.

Nothing different for the awd except I suggest 3” versions of the components. Everything is linked so you can get an idea of total cost for parts. Installation is the big variable because all shops are different. I’ve heard 500 - 1000 for install. It’s a 1.5 hour job at most so even 500 is crazy to me, but is what it is these days

Bro i about willing to buy q50s 2015 3.7 but having an issue on transmission not shifting at 3d gear. Any idea how much max will cost to fix the issue and is it true in the future same issue might encounter?

Not a cheap fix. Only way to fix with confidence is to upgrade to a newer 3.0t trans which you can probably find at a salvage yard but will need a new flex plate and custom driveshaft so it ends up being well over $3,000 either way you go.
