forget how forgotten this game is for a minute and remember the real atrocity that happened here: Oswald barely gets any recognition now a days! when i found out about this toon and the history he had to this point, i was waiting for Everything he was gonna be in! but... only these games, a few merch and cameos came out. Disney has done nothing with the Lucky Rabbit and it's sad to see that happen. he deserves better, damn it!

Love the new format, but it does get confusing of whos talking, a recommendation i would put is either have some kind of visual indication whose talking, something that could be easy but make it distinguished is to have the background change due to whose talking instead of what current topic we are on, and if you want to distinguish it further, just have the outline of the frame match the color of the topic, but the background color be related to whose talking. Or you could have the voices edited to distinguish them if you don't find that distractioning to the viewer, i wouldn't but i know some would.

I loved this game. Yeah, the camera was bad, but I'm more of a story-gamer. Characters I only "just" remembered, others I had NO idea even existed (thus prompting me to hunt down the info), places I only recognized from the Disney Sing Along videos I had as a kid; it was all something a child me wanted but couldn't have due to area and money issues (aka: I lived too far to visit anyplace Disney-related). Epic Mickey 2 was a bit of a letdown, and the game for the handheld was too obscure for me to look for (ie there was literally NO info about it when it came out), but the cliffhanger ending made me want more. I was legitimately sad when I learned there wouldn't be anything to continue where the last games left off. I wanted to know what the Petes' were up to at the end of Epic Mickey 2. CURSE that cliffhanger ending! I want to know!! Also, I loved the side quests and moral choices. Like, you know the thing with the telephone and the wrench? The paint path was to give the wrench to the gremlin. Said gremlin would have destroyed the telephone. That was the paint path answer to that choice. What the heck Disney?! And the ending kinda changed depending on your choices too. That makes it more fulfilling for me to DO side quests because they let you determine the fates of those left behind. Horace's detective agency, the friendship between certain NPCs who helped you along the way, the EASTER EGG OF WALT DISNEY'S ACTUAL APARTMENT ON MAIN STREET IN DISNEY LAND (which, yes, he actually had a place in the park where he lived part-time)... I loved how it made me want to learn more about something I already loved. How it made me want to learn more about a place I could never visit, about characters I didn't know existed, projects I didn't know where imagined then either scrapped or placed aside and forgotten about. The Wasteland was the park that would never be, but one I wished could. Thanks for the nostalgia trip, Fawful's Minion.

I think Disney saw this not doing exceptionally well and just thought "Hey I guess people aren't into this stuff" instead of "We should try to keep the good stuff and make it better." Because as a concept and talking about the potential this game could have had...goosebumps all over, man. I just wish that they added Oswald into other things after this. They bought him, so why not use him for God's sake. The least they could have done is give him a role in KH

Funny thing that happened to me in Tomorrow City this year, when you are freeing one of the Gremlins near the Rocket. I nearly grabbed on the ledge of the crane arm as it goes up to the rocket. And I died. I think the game reads it as if you got crush when the crane platform is next to the ledge.

This was a delight. I adore this game, I've adored it since it first came out when I was 9 and I love it to bits and I'm so glad you enjoyed it too!! It absolutely has it's flaws, but it's just so fun to go through this world and see the love that was put into this and you can feel it's potential and what the creators wanted it to be - I can ramble about this game for forever. I will forever be sad that junction point was shut down and that we never got a third game or that we've barely seen Oswald in any other modern disney media (you have the rights disney use the rabbit PLEASE).

I do remember playing this game and enjoying it, except for one thing. As a kid, I got my save soft locked. If you don't take enough anvils into the image flippy puzzle thing in the ghost level, the door locks behind you and you cannot complete the puzzle. Really put a damper on the whole thing.

I've never played Epic Mickey but I've always heard great things about it. Now I have a better understand on why so many people hold this game in high regard, but also why so many people seem to forget this game's existence. I'm definitely putting this game on my long "to play" list though since the entire concept of this game intrigues me so much now. Also, I love this new formatting for Blessed or Messed. Keep it up!

Those 2D animated cutscenes are actually an homage to the art style of Mary Blair, one of the famous artists from Walt Disney's time. Also, that canceled Gremlins film actually started as a story Roald Dahl wrote during World War II and was pitched to turn into a movie by Walt Disney.
