The Vanishing Rasengan was the Jutsu Kakashi was trying to make but ultimately failed, when Kakashi learned the Rasengan by Minato he tried applying Lightning chakra to it, but he was never able to combine it to work in sync with the Rasengan, BUT doing so the failed product ended up being the Chidori, a massive amount of lightning chakra condensed into one point on your palm or the tip of ones finger.

The flashback of Naruto thinking on how he treated Boruto really was always the main reason not to skip the first arc imo. The stuff with Sumire and Mitsuki are important too, as is showing how much of a genius Boruto is; but much more important is establishing the extent of the divide between father and son.

of course he skipped it, but shockingly it looks like he is watching the Kara Actuation Arc which i didn't think he would do since he literally skipped one of the first earliest arcs that would introduce an important character later on who would play a role in the timeskip. i still don't understand whoever gave him this list of "canon" episodes, they have no idea what their doing. and again watching the series based on only the manga events is flawed because the anime intertwines anime events directly into the manga events so people making up these fake continuity rules are just doing a disservice.

@@Waluigiisbest99 The reason is dumb "traditions", really old shows like DBZ, Inuyasha, Bleach and Naruto were notorious for having filler that did nothing but waste your time. However the industry evolved and these people didn't. The problem with filler is that they keep status quo. However, in the case of Boruto, he directly wrote anime arcs that would strengthen character development and those development arent erased and they're considered when writing future chapters of the manga. The problem is that people are still in the mindset that "If its not in the manga...", despite the fact that Kishimoto is purposefully leaving things out of the manga to make the story go faster because its monthly instead of weekly

@Faxityy I think you have a wrong image of Narutos chakra pool. He has roundabout 2.5 times the chakra of Kurama. He has to at least have the same amount as Kurama to use his chakra properly. But a better scale is the half dead Minato. He could take half of Kurama with the reaper death seal, wich means that the almost dead minato had the same amount of chakra as half of Kurama. And Naruto, unlike Minato, is a half blood Uzumaki. The clan with the biggest chakra pool ever. Kuramas chakra is special, because its kind of transformed natur chakra, not because he has super much of it. I mean he also has super much of it. Naruto is just THAT GUY. xD edit: it just fixed some missspelling. English is not my first language. 🙃

Aye ngl, I think you missed one detail that I think will get touched on as the manga is written, at the end there, Boruto squeezed at the Rasengan and twisted, making it spin in the opposite direction and everything started to get pulled into the rasengan instead. Boruto was able to change the chakra state on the fly after the jutsu was used. Turned that shit into a gravity bomb.
