Hi Shirley, only difference with Fa’apapa & Poke is, the corn flour & plain flour.. I make it mostly for my kids and their father. After I make it, I don’t always eat it. I think some cooks are like me.. gladly eat other peoples cooking except our own (weird) 😂 I hope you have a blessed week ❤️❤️

Thanks for another Re-Load Queen Faye! Enjoy watching these videos from your past. I don't think your hair is scary at all...it is just a hair-do re-load!🤣 I Have seen those pumpkins before (I think), but didn't even know they were even pumpkins...I am used to pumpkins that look like 🎃, but we never eat those. Glad that cultures are using them properly, and not just sticking a hot candle in their bum to scare the kiddies. Love hearing the stories of your mama kicking butt and standing up for her Aiga back in the day. After you mixed in the tapioca flour into the mashed pumpkin it kind of looks like the filling for a pumpkin pie....is that what it tastes like? Getting mad at the little glass with the moisture holding onto the sugar was a great example of what you said about anger issues 🤣... at least it was just a glass.. I can't imagine you ever really being angry at anybody .... you are too much off a sweet heart! 💗 Comparing dad to the "rock man", made me think you were talking about "The Thing", the big fella from the Fantastic Four! I also remember the "Phantom" as well, from years ago. Awww, loved mama's laughter when you told her what you made. She sounded so happy!!💗💗💗 So curious what that tastes like...thank you for cooking something from the Cook Islands that I had never heard of. Hi Live, yes I have filmed making banana poke. I was looking for it the other day. Since getting a new phone, things have mixed up. But it’s like making the pumpkin poke, but instead of pumpkin, use over ripe bananas. 😊 If I find the video, I’ll be sure to upload it.
