Here’s my take on former governor Fayose, three things are at stake for him and one of them could be true. One; either he’s been threatened by the present government about his past audited sheets. Two; either he’s been paid to be a mouthpiece for Tinubu. Thirdly; he must be a good citizen who’s just sympathizing with the government. With the above information, the third can’t be true. If Nigerians didn’t protest against Buhari, they have the constitutional rights to protest against bad governance in Tinubu’s administration if they so choose to do so. The same party had 8yrs to help fix this country and in the 9th year there’s no more time to waste. These present predicaments were created by bad policies introduced by Tinubu’s government. No one is expecting a miracle but government must start listening to the people’s demands. Failed policies will result to dire consequences. The right to protest for good causes should be a civic responsibility to all Nigerians. Whether Fayose’s tracks have been uncovered by EFCC and he’s facing threats or his pockets have been blessed bountifully, one thing is for sure he spoke like a Tinubu advocate.
