Well he’s canonically 10-14 at this point, he doesn’t exactly have the stamina of an adult and seems to have been raised to be extremely courteous.

@@cathygrandstaff1957 It's lost in translation but in the original dub(Japanese), Young Sephiroth speaks formally with the use of honorifics to address others. Adult Sephiroth speaks rather casually with little to no honorifics.

I want an entire game on Sephiroth before he went crazy he’s such an interesting character. I’m still hoping he can redeem himself in part 3 of the trilogy, but that’s wishful thinking 😪

When they announced Crisis Core, I thought that it's going to be a game about Sephiroth - turned out it's about Zack. When they announced The First Soldier, I thought that it's going to be a game about Sephiroth - turned out it's a battle royale. Then came Ever Crisis... and I guess... it's something? But I wish SE would finally notice this cow that has been standing there for almost two decades without getting properly milked. A game with multiple choices and endings...

It’s a seasonal event so the answer is it’s as canon as the developers decide it is. There are probably some bits of hard canon, like the P0 Soldiers having to train every day against a holodeck that was trying very hard to kill them. While other bits aren’t really. Or from the Halloween event Hojo having some very harsh training regimens for the young Sephiroth, seemingly including torturing him to increase his pain tolerance, is canon but Sephiroth and Glenn visiting Nibelheim probably isn’t. Also the main First Soldier story from Ever Crisis is definitely canon.

Yes, all the events are canon. The Halloween event explained that the portals can make them lose their memories, which is why they won't really be referenced (Dissidia and FF14 does this as well) but they're definitely canon.
