I installed my drayton wiser conventional kit 2, for hot water and heating with smart thermostats in all rooms (5 in total, including the bathroom) on the 3/12/2023. I have several problems 1. I have set different room temperatures as required and at different start and end times. 2. All heating kicks in and starts warming up all rooms as soon as the earliest time set kicks in even though they have different start and finish times. I work shifts, so I don't need my room heated as and when is not in use. 3. When I chose to boost 1 room as needed, all other rooms heating kicks in even though they have different start times and temperature times. 4. Even if I reduce the temperatures to between 10 and 12 degrees to stop rooms from warming up as they're not required, they heat and warm up anyway. These problems do not help with the idea of the drayton smart heating efficiency of the heating system ideas. Eg. I needed to boost only my bedroom at night after work, but the whole heating system kicked in while other people were sleeping, which is not required. These problems have rather caused my bills to increase instead of decreasing for efficiency and cost. I can't boost a single room without all the other heating kicking in. Please help!! Please, I would appreciate it if you could help rectify all these inefficiency problems.

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing issues with the system. We have a dedicated customer service team for Wiser that will be able to do some remote diagnostics to make sure the system is set up correctly. Give them a call on 0333 6000 622.

UPDATE... Drayton replied today, Room stat was faulty showing white / blank screen. replacement not in stock at local merchants or S/fix, so installation delayed by 24 hrs. Additional charge to customer for 2nd installation and weekend call. On the upside the tech staff are very polite. It's option 2 Technical not option 1 sales. I wish manufacturer's would realise that the cost of faulty goods is not just a quick run down the road and swop over. It certainly affects their and my view on which controls to purchase in future.

When Installed the wiser heat hub and turned on the power I don’t get any flashing lights. Can you advice what may be going wrong?
@darrenmaclean41732 жыл бұрын
When I put the old one back on it works fine.

It sounds like the hub may be faulty, if the LEDs are not coming on when the hub is powered up I would suggest to return it to the place of purchase

Great products, only minor gripe would be the cheapo batteries you supply. Makes what otherwise seems like a real quality product seem a bit cheap.

At least they come with batteries though.

Little bit of a disappointment with my system that I've taken up with Drayton but without success. The thing to be aware of using this system with my Baxi 600 combi is that there is no control over the hot water temperature. Once you connect the hub to the boiler using the opentherm connections the front panel controls on the boiler are effectively disabled with the hot water temperature set to maximum (60 degrees). Bit disappointing for those of us wanting to save energy.

We are aware that there is some limited functionality with our implementation of OpenTherm. Our development team are working to improve this.

This seems very dangerous to me. The current model of Wiser terminal 4 is not used on Wiser Kit3.
