Had my first baby in Chicago in 89 two weeks before turning 16. Moved to the suburbs and homeschooled by 20 when I saw the Ritalin epidemic coming. I remember the first lil boy I ever saw selling drugs. I was about 14 and he was about 12. His Mama and Grandmama had every ability to stop it but they promoted an out of control ego in the lil boy. They seemed to find pleasure in gloating over their materialism. We're a very materialistic society. Lil Tony was a very influential boy because his Mama always had him so flashy. Soon the other boys on the block joined him sellin drugs and aimlessly hanging out in front of the Grandmothers home. I watched the neighborhood become overtaken with teen moms who were predisposed to disregard the village elders and lil boys filled with an effeminate desire to show off clothes shoes and cars.
