I live on a piece of property that was once a junkyard like 80+ years ago before it was developed into a residential area. Every time I do yard work, I discover something -- broken glass, an old metal toy, etc -- that's worked itself up to the surface. This summer, I found a pristine medicine bottle that, when I checked, was from about 100 yrs ago. The point is, that no matter how much they try to bury the truth, it inevitably works its way up to the light.

I researched it, a common "medicinal" distributed throughout NY/NJ in the late 19th-early 20th century. I had it on a high cabinet until I could finish rinsing it out, but my curious cat knocked it off, breaking off the top. I have the rest of it in a curio cabinet.

As long as you understand every nation has been through this. Every country has laws now because we have had these experiences. There is a Tower in Parliament UK stacked with vellum rolls of laws, passed over a millennium. You have 250 years….think about how much experience your lawmakers have yet to have. Sometimes a nation has to live through to understand….Germany, Italy are in similar situations. They too have not been unified as long as you might imagine…..

What I find surprising about the electoral college results at the Archives is that there were 2 states that hadn't sent theirs in and then all of them were in by the 17th, I think. Now there are MANY states that don't show they've sent the certificates in. Now that's VERY interesting.

The NCIA (which is NATO's tech, surveillance & cyber hub) is split between a number of locations, one of which is The Hague. Because NATO is such a large, ever-expanding organization, there are headquarters for different NATO agencies in many countries. Brussels is their main (meeting) headquarters, which makes sense as many EU countries are members of NATO, so it would be easy for EU heads of state to turn up for an EU Council meeting and a NATO meeting on the same trip. But the various NATO agencies are spread far and wide across Europe, from Estonia to Greece to Italy, etc. The only NATO agency in North America is in Norfolk, Virginia.

Libby, I read tonight that there was an old judge from the state of Georgia who committed suicide. He gave his resignation letter to Governor Brian Kemp, but the governor didn't accept his resignation. I feel like there might be something ominous going on there. The late judge's name was Steve Yekel, he was in his 70s.
