I’ve become quite fond of some videos. I have been a programmer for a very long time and have been known to teach here and there. Let's not pretend regulators really do anything to help the little guy. In fact, they are often bought and paid for by the industry they regulate (see FDA LOL). The SEC and the like pick and choose things to prosecute on - usually someone or something they just don't like. Do you need a regulatory body to help you when you pick a car company to buy from? They why do you need a regulator to tell you that you can't trust a trading/market site? If they're untrustworthy, why would you use them to begin with? If they wrong you, then you can sue them for damages. There is little of the "free market" left in the USA, and the bureaucratic state will make sure of that.
