@@mikefarrell6766 A team like FCC’s be able to play through it, instead they lost their cool. Ref did make some bad calls but none that really decided the outcome. We’ve had to deal with VAR decisions going against us for 2 years which definitely decided outcomes of games.

@mikefarrell67667 ай бұрын
@@samiam6904 right, showing a yellow card on a perfect tackle in single digits then sending the dude off for again a perfect tackle with 0 contact both times has no influence on the outcome, play through. Hagglunds career is possibly over because he has to make a tackle that should have been blown dead twice on shirt grabs and fouls committed by NE players. Kubo comes on, gets absolutely violated by three NE players at the top of the box, taps possession away from NE, gets a yellow for a clean touch but from ground, play through. Acosta argues a call, yedlin gets a yellow, play through. I'm surprised miazga didn't get a red somehow, we know the refs hate miazga-thats proven, play through. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Vrioni and co., take a bow. It’s incredible the difference in this team from just a month ago. Starting with the DP striker himself, have a day. That’s what we’ve been missing from the number 9 position this season. The first, a beautiful low strike on the left foot, reminiscent of Gustavo Bou. The second, a tidy header, off of a great ball from Ema, that was very Adam Buksa-esque. Those two knew how to score, and if Vrioni can get anywhere close to that level of consistency with his finishing, this team can truly be dangerous on the attack. Both goals were also set up by the captain, who was brilliant as always. And when it seemed like Cincy would get one back, Ivacic stepped up. Incredible save late in stoppage time; he really has improved of late. If there’s anything I would criticize about this game, it would be that we didn’t finish that 3 on 1 break. Particularly in a tight game against a top team, you need to take those chances. That being said, great win overall, and although I’ve been quite critical of Caleb Porter to this point, he deserves serious credit for the recent turnaround. That’s 4 wins in 4, let’s see how long this run can go! Crazy to believe that we’re one win off the playoffs, but I’m not complaining! Go Revs! Also, anybody know why Kubo came off the bench in this one? Isn’t he one of the top scores for Cincinnati this year?
@mikefarrell67667 ай бұрын
That game is 4-2 without the refs playing for NE. Kubo gets a break because games on jun 15/19/22. Didn't want to have to use him. But Jon Freemon had a job to do, and that was make sure FC Cincinnati dropped points. He succeeded, even if we could all tell that whole game was bullshit and we got yellows for getting fouled. If you're proud as a NE fan after that game your bias is insane, and you should be more worried about players on the field and their health and safety when someone so amateur is in charge of the pitch

@@Alex_J6 sorry I'm a displaced fan, don't get to go to as many games as I want, still HEATED about the fouls and not able to enjoy the game at all yet. I'll try, aside from an FC player breathing in the direction of a NE player and getting a yellow for being fouled by NE players....FC didn't show up until 75+ mins, missed the couple of chances we had, Powell played the worst game of his career after being a big part of Wednesday's insane game, boucha had some chances and dumped them off, Acosta has a few openings he couldn't finish off. It's super tough to get it together when you get yellows for no contact slide tackles from wobi We [I] LOVE KUBO! He went from promising striker/attacking mid to utility for an expansion team, DP turned us citizen, pay cut in year 2/3, has been our most important piece since nippert stadium, stats out to Acosta but kubo has done everything but put on keeper gloves at this point. Acosta and kubo need rests in these stretches but we can't give them

Hat's off to the New England Revolution and their fans... This game was far from ideal for us here in Cincinnati. The injury with Miazga, the national call up from Miles Robinson... But we played sloppy especially in the first half... Got too emotional and had so many stupid fouls. We didn't deserve to win tonight. Chalk some of it up to the horrendous officiating, but FCC was also completely disjointed in the first half, with terrible passing, no communication, and no Kubo. Miazga & Robinson’s absences on defense were glaringly obvious. Hagglund organized them better in the 2nd, but now they may have lost him, as well. Only the 2nd yellow against Nwobodo was deserved, but now he’s also out for next week. This isn’t going to be Cincy’s season, unfortunately.

First - You should include your officiating credentials in your comments, 'cause you're arguing against FIFA. That white badge he's wearing shows that FIFA (and the US Soccer Federation) evaluates him in the top 0.2% of referees, allowing him to officiate International competitive matches. While that doesn't mean your comment is inherently invalid, I'd tend to defer to experts. Second -"Send him back to PRO"? PRO is the organization that assigns MLS refs (along with NWSL and USL Championship), so what are you talking about? And why would you argue that an unsafe referee should be assigned games at all?
