Coming from someone who tracked his 500hp RX7, his brake set-up was SS brake lines, Dot4 brake fluid, and Hawk HPS pads. The first thing you notice is the pedal modulation no matter how soft it was before is now properly firm allowing better braking control pre-Abs engagement. Sure some cars with their puny brakes will need a bigger brake upgrade, but every upgrade does not require dropping 2k just to stop your car. Nice vid.

Nice video man. I use fcp for all my parts 👍. I went with the 17z 6 piston brembos and 4 piston in rear. Such a big difference and boy they look good powder coated white 👌.

Is it me or did the coilovers spring look collapsed on the bottom ?

Indeed as others have said, tape, prime, paint, cure, even bake in the oven apply decal and second coat with clear laquer before install to avoid bubbling as well as decal coming off with a jet wash.

Hi - good vid, but a question: the Q5 calipers (part numbers for the Q5 CALIPERS (8R0615107E / 8R0615108E), but these are the non-monoblock versions for the Q5's - the later (2018) versions of the calipers are for example: 80A615106AB which are better monoblock calipers - are these the same mounts as the ones you mention do you know as they will be better?

Tirec Chatman b7 a4 brakes (2005.5-2008) or b7 s4 brakes of the same era

Most brake disks are like that, the coating comes off as the brakes get bedded

Macan 4 cyl base brakes are the same as the Audi Q5 brakes and much less expensive for some reason! They're not bare metal though so paint might not stick as well (but also isn't strictly necessary, as long as you don't mind "PORSCHE" on your calipers)

Useless job, useless brakes. As OEM, as from q5. For the less money you could get really good brakes: 356*34 or 380*36.
