I did this swap on my E92 335i with adapter plates F&R and 135i hubs in the rear, a fantastic upgrade over the stock E9x brakes even just with OEM rotors and pads. I do love watching you wrench Gareth.

Trimming backing plates never works the way you want. But the new slip in backing plate with the incorporated spacer is *chefs kiss*.

Gareth, The backing plate and spacer is not yet listed with the kit on FCPEuro. Customer service still is also saying to trim the backing plate. Can you tell us how to get the backing plate and spacer? Thanks and your videos rock and FCPEuro is hands down the best!

Interesting that the F8x spindles and wheel hubs can be retrofitted on a E9x chassis. Has anyone tried making them work on the E6x M?

I’m going to be a hater and turn my nose up at the wheel hub swap. And the brake wiring tinkering. I looked up the kit and saw that part and price and ya uh huh nope. You forgot the Dead blow hammers in the required tools list lol.
