I like to hit the drain/fill plugs with some brake cleaner before removing them, to prevent dirt getting in...

If you have compressed air line, you can speed up the draining process.

always remove fill plug first. if you drain the haldex fluid and can't get the fill plug out, you ain't filling it back up. just my 2 cents i tell the noobies
