How To Wire Electric Hose Reels From Battery To Solenoid

I just bought a electric hose reel but I don’t wanna hook it directly to my truck battery. Instead I’m going to buy a separate battery to run the hose reel. Is there a recommended size battery that I need to run the hose reel or does it only have to be a 12 V? I’m pretty new to all this stuff. If you can please explain in layman’s terms. A friend told me all I need is a marine battery but what’s the difference from a car battery

There is a difference between a car battery and a marine battery. A marine battery you can run it dead and it don’t hurt it. So you want to use a marine battery

Question do you know any tricks on making a manual hose reel i have. 100ft hose or do you think i should wrap it up on a lawn garden hose reel lol i dont know do you have any suggestions or where too get a cheap one

Sucks I have no option to but to keep my electric reels ( and whole trailer for that matter) outside. Will a tarp be sufficient to protect from rain? I guess not with condensation..

Why do all the electric Hannay reels I see say 3000psi what do I need to change out?

I guessing but maybe the swivel they are using is only rated fro 3000PSI

I use a 150 amp circuit breaker
