@@smilingnik83 what makes finland nordic? Genetically we are closer to other finno ugrics such as estonians, mordvins and sami. Culturally we are finnic with some germanic influences. Linguistically we are finno ugric not germanic. Only nordic thing is quality of life

Gustafsson deserved the victory but I believe the stoppage was too soon 2 seconds left on the round. Lampinen had taken a lot of hard shots but still had a chanse with better endurance going to the 3rd round. MMA is not a healthy sport by any means and I understand its probably better for both of them that the fight was stopped. On the otherhand if both fighters want to continue their decision should be respected. They are grown men and they have a freedom to destroy themselves if they want to. With a 3rd round this would have been an even better fight and probably the best fight of their life. An incredible fight nevertheless and respect to both fighters. Those fuckers are made from iron. They are probably shitting bricks and eating steel for breakfast.

The referees job is to make sure the fighters don't take more permanent damage than they have to. Lampinen already took a ton of damage and he wasn't defending himself on the ground, it was a good stoppage. The only thing that would have happened was more brain damage for Lampinen at that point.
