@@nicholea I think she wanted to just focus on her career, how it all started, how it grew to stardom, losing her voice and then starting again. She also barely mentioned the breaking down of marriage near the end so I think she simply didn't want to talk about her private problems.

I love Shania. Mutt did to her what her stepdad did to her mother--took a heart and stomped on it. Mutt did the 'greater' sin, he committed adultery towards his wife and towards the married adulteress. Anne-Marie did the 'greater' sin also. My sister had the same thing happen to her. The sooner she realizes her step-father and Mutt were not decent people and turn to God she will handle this better.

The only thing worse than being screwed by your Family is being screwed by your best friend and your husband. It's so sad, I have great empathy for people this happens to.It happened to a Princess! It's not uncommon, all over the world. Shania and Princess Di are iproof that it's not going to matter if a person is rich, beautiful, or talented. Remember you are not alone. I have no answers or advice. My sister says there is an ass for every seat. The first thing most people think is what is, what is wrong with me? The self esteem takes a nose dive. if it's a repeat offender? Only you know when your cup is full. Mine took 7 years to overflow. 7 years of my life waisted, on a POS that didn't deserve me.
@Jenifer-ij3qz2 жыл бұрын
I have a hard time hearing Shania repeatedly direct her anger and blame on Mary-Anne, instead of her husband. Thankfully Dr. Livingston interjects in this episode, and in another, how she is protecting Mutt, and excusing him for his role. It's really pathetic to hear her blame the "other women" for the majority of the betrayal. Her husband chose to sleep with her friend, and HIS friend's wife, and carry on the affair. He even stayed with Mary-Anne after the split from Shania, which tells you it wasn't just a fling, or a moment of regret.
@tammywebb12898 ай бұрын
And if you think about it, Mutt was kind of controlling towards Shania and kind of kept her from the world by moving them both to Switzerland. I'm not saying that Mutt was a bad husband throughout all of their marriage, but there's absolutely no reason for him to cheat on a beautiful woman like Shania with an old hag like Marie-Anne!!

Também sou como a Shania. Acho-me mentalmente forte e não aceito terapia. Ela me fez perguntas e as respondi. No final, ela me disse: "Sr. Essa orientação surpreendeu-me. Pensava que ela iria me dizer o contrário.

After meeting the Mutt for the first time, Shania dumped her then fiance, a Canadian fellow, and six months later married the Mutt. Pretty fast work, wouldn't you say? Karma caught up with her. She never would have had the career that she did, if it hadn't been for Mutt Lange. She should thank him for that.
@lilygrace66893 жыл бұрын
LOL yup. You are the first person I have ever seen point this out. I remember how Shania kinda brushed over that, but yeah she definitely dumped her fiance to marry a rich producer instead. And the thing is, Mutt was a known cheater. He divorced the wife he had before Shania in the exact same way - by having an affair with his secretary. I think Shania focused so much on Marie Anne's "betrayal" as her best friend because she couldn't face the reality about the person Mutt always was and how they got started as a couple.
