From my experience cheap rubber vacuum cap never last (a full year IF YOU ARE LUCKY), man it up and do it once, get short silicone hose and cut nail/metal rod and plug into end, other end go to intake pipe/nipple. Very good video, and nicely explained. Thank you 17:27

Yeah you can do a poor man's version without taking the turbos off but it's not as good

I was planning on doing the first start last night but have some issues with my apexi ecu and fuel pump to sort out. They could be related though

Hey mate in the process of doing this now, the video is great. I've made all the mods to my manifold and turbos. The turbos are currently getting rebuilt with billet wheels. On a side note, are the recirc valves still required? And what modification did you make to line that leaving the back of the block that goes to the cat convertor

What's up TR. I don't know if you already finished your project, but that line from the back of the block, is actually from the lower intake manifold and feeds fresh air to the cat from the air pump and is not related to the sequential turbo system. If you have deleted the air pump and the air control valve (ACV) then you'd just remove that line and plug the opening at the cat or block it off. You'd also need a block off plate for the back on the lower intake. If I ever get my butt in gear I'll have a video series working on my FD where I remove and block all that system off.

Do you plan on putting a single turbo on it? The newer aftermarket ones would be way more efficient.

I would much prefer a new technology turbo but for now I did this so I could keep my current intake and exhaust!
