Last November I bought a box of food coloring. The box that has 4 little bottles of different color: red, blue, yellow, and green. The same exact coloring that Mom used in the 70s and 80s. I checked the box after hearing this news. Red3 and Red40 are listed right there in the ingredients. I had never thought about it before.

Yes! I hope they go on to ban all dyes and at least most additives from food, there are plenty of food sources for natural coloring like beets or cranberries for red or pink, blueberries for blue or purple, leafy greens for green (these are the ones I got off the top of my head). I also hope they remove high fructose corn syrup as well, I was looking at the ingredients of spaghetti sauce and was surprised to find that some of them had high fructose corn syrup (which is just horrible, and why add it to a sauce that doesn't even need to be sweet?! ridiculous). Also they definitely need to regulate bread ingredients. I also hope they ban most or all highly processed foods! I truly believe that once the food quality is improved, a lot of the prevalent diseases (like diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, and heart issues) will decrease significantly. This is a great first step and I hope they continue and don't drop the ball later on!

we do have to be fair and just for the government as well. Usually tests on anything will require trials and if you want to know what the effects are, long term, then mutiple researches over a span of multiple lifetimes ranging 60-80 years will have to be conducted. Reasonably, you have to give government a chance. Also , why are people not performing peer reviewed sciences THEMSELVES, collectively and servicing humanity?
