Just to add some context tha might help. At the fdj team presentation, we had some details, apparentlu the deal was set up early in the season, and both Evita and Juliette were aware of Demi coming to join.

"would you like Demi Vollering" whoever heard that line at FDJ must have thought they were dreaming 😂 Also makes it more interesting that she left SDWorx, I think a lot of us thought it was a budget issue, but if Specialized were happy to pay her salary then why on earth wouldn't SDWorx want to sign her again?? I think FDJ is a great move for Demi and FDJ and a huge loss for sdworx

Probably because Specialized did not want to pay that kind of money for Kopecky, and the main objective at SD seems to be not to upset Kopecky. I also think SD still had a contract for 2025, so possibly Specialized will not stay with SD Workx after 2025.

​@justinbergmans36 100% SDW 💩 on D.V. all the time. It was disgusting to watch. I believe heavily in teamwork, but there was none of that. I can't stand L.K. any rider who attacks their own teammate has always rubbed me the wrong way.

@@justinbergmans36 Yeah, if she's on FDJ this year she wins the tour by a minute or more. The team helps her get back on after her crash, and on the last stage, Muzic could absolutely shred the rest of the field for Demi on the first climb or early on Alpe and she could time trial to the line.
