Good video fellow engineer and youtuber! I took the FE during my senior year, and even though I haven't needed it, I'm glad I got it over with. If I ever need it, it's there.

I am working on my fourth attempt to the FE Mechanical Exam for the State of Colorado. I took few months break in between thinking I would never retake it. Voice in my head keeps telling me to never give up and this FE has been more about when you start something you work hard till you accomplish what you set out to do. Hours of studying and emotional investment into taking this test keeps bringing me back to take it and come up with a better way to study. Thanks for the tips.

Hi there. Nice video! So I am a senior environmental student at Florida Gulf Coast University and my FE Environmental Exam is this Saturday, which I have been preparing all week for. My question is: once I pass this exam, can I get my PE in Civil engineering later on in my life if I get a job as a civil engineer and decide I want to advance my career? To clarify, will I need to the FE for Civil prior before I have to take the PE for civil EVEN THOUGH I took my FE for environmental. Or do I just need to have completed any FE before I take any PE?

Hi Miss, Thanks a lot for ur supportive videos for FE exam. My FE exam was scheduled on June 26. But, it is surprised taht NCEES pushed to July 26 without my consent. My FE exam questions will be asked based on June 20 spec & syllabus or it will be conducted as per newly effective July 20 spec. & syllabus. Kindly pls help me to give my question so that I can reorganize my study plan quickly to pass FE exam. Waiting for ur informative answer and comments.

hello, i need 1 advice from you, i did my Bachelors in electronics 12 years ago in India, I am working in USA since then in Civil Engineering field, unfortunately, my total field has changed which i didn't study in college. i am at a point in my Job where my employer wants me to take at least F.E exam how to study and where to go for where to start in specifically my Situation please advice me regarding my specific problem thanks please reply me

Hello Muhammad, I am sorry for the late response but I actually need to do some research to see if you actually can take the F.E. exam even though you don't have an engineering background. I do have some questions for you though, were you able to transfer your bachelors degree from India to USA? Also, studying electronics, did you take any engineering classes? Do you think you can send me the program for your undergrad for me to look at and hopefully we can see what would be the easiest way for you to prepare for this test. Lastly, do you have a date when you would like to take your F.E. exam? Again, I apologize for the late response.

Hello Marwa, I am not sure if architects need to take the FE. However, I know that there is a PE license for architects. The question is the FE a prerequisite for the PE like the most PEs. I would contact the NCEES and ask them directly because it also depends on which state you are in. I hope this helps and thank you for watching.
