Tuğrulk Hocam Merhaba, Shell eleman kullanıldığından nasıl emin olabildik, bu kısmı kaçırdım. Meshlerken hacim eleeman yerine yüzey eleman ile mi meshlediniz?

Thanks for the video, Sir. I have a question, why fixing only two points in 4:58 and not fixing the 4? Greetings from Mexico

I think it's because the plate is simply supported- it is fixed on one end and free on the other
@robertmisiuk71372 жыл бұрын
@@paulcipparone4690 It is simply supported on all four sides. Since the deflections are set to 0, fixing the two points essentially fixes the motion for the other corners as well.

what restrictions should i apply if i want simply supported but with shell281 element
@FEAnalysis3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. The element order is by default "Program Controlled" that is specified in the Mesh Details box. You can select higher order element (Shell281) with midside nodes instead. This does not change the displacement boundary conditions required for simply supported plate in this case however. I hope this helps.
