By the will of Sylvian, Dysmorphia's new sprite is so much sassier than the current one, it does fit in with her "look at me" attitude but it's also just MUCH less intimidating since Samarie's moonscorch was the only one to originally scare me when first seeing this game lol

I full send agree I feel that sprite should be used only if time truly passes so that she found herself more to strut her stuff or some other method to trigger ot The original one rightfully even now does a solid serviceable job and shows to put reach of struggle Been showing fear and hunger to new people and when they see that they feel it and that right there is where you know you have something good 👍

For those folks who don't know, on the post teasing Caligula's new hangout spot, Orange also said he's giving August a new hangout spot This is cool! It makes them feel more like actual entities in the world rather than ghosts who appear at random times. (It'll also make murdering them easier)

Same! I'm very interested to see how that'll be handled considering his skills do not work for a player character at all. I mean they do, but are insanely lame. Wonder what he'll get to compensate for that

@_connorsseur maybe a day based mechanic that might be interesting, like getting more skills on day 2 or 3, or being able to learn from other characters on certain events.

I know Silent Hill game series was huge inspiration, this Ringmaster monster in 1:34 looks almost excatly like Needler from SH Homecoming

oh shit it actually does look very similar! Oh man, and here I thought having someone doing Exorcist style crab walking with spiky hands was somewhat original idea D: No one's going to believe when I say that it's actually not an inspiration at all. The only inspirations behind the thing were Iwazaru from Killer7 and Voldo from Soul Calibur series.

Yeah someone pointed that out already haha. I was going off of memory w/ the sergal and just made the connection between white thing w/ runic markings without peeking. The markings aren't even remotely alike, and the helmet horns are too small, so my bad

It might just be me, but I would love a knight-like enemy in Termina. Even if the chance of such a thing even happening is slim to none, it would be an interesting throw back to the first game which had a plentiful supply of such enemies.

Two things! Firstly I'd personally love if there were some weather conditions that could maybe give some greater separation between days. The thing I pictured would be rain during the second day's morning. I think this could give not only some great atmosphere but it could maybe be a very remarkable point in a new player's expefience. Finally reaching the second day should be a very noticeable thing I think. Second thing is that I think the harp-like object you described in the video maybe resembles the Sampo, from finnish folklore, as portrayed in the "the defense of the sampo" kalevala painting from Akseli (forgot his name), this is the same painting that Karin's moonscorched form comes from.

You're probably right about the sampo, I didn't show in the vid but orange tweeted it with a caption along the lines of "a must have for any Finnish game" or something. Point is, he confirmed it's Finnish.
