17:15 - I am glad that Miro is not implementing Marriage mechanics in Termina. The whole point of Marriage is to make your character stronger and to regenerate your limbs at the cost of party member and locking you out of Ending S. Sylvian's sigil already has the limb-healing property, and I have the impression that people are asking for Marriage mechanics solely for the sake of being horny and edgy. Funger was never about being edgy, but about making you and your character feel broken, helpless and hopeless. Besides, since Marriage is technically two people literally merged into one, it would break the festival rule where only one person will be able to get out of the town.

Innocent bordering on Enlightened soul for me, by the looks of it, interesting for sure! I’ve been waiting for so long to see the soul type chart, I’m beyond excited! I really like how the four ‘cardinal directions’ have opposing types, but if you look close, the rest could also have their counterparts. Caressing vs dominating, halved vs blank, solitary vs changeling, radiating vs tormented. Really fascinating stuff!

Maybe a moonscorched form could be a sad person in a position to give a loving embrace but has a shadow with a bunch of monsters behind her as a representative of a person who just wants to love but has trauma barriers. With fishing being added and looking so out of place, my bet is that it would have a chance or a condition to acomplish that would trigger a fight with something like the salmonsnake from fear and hunger 1. You can find a salmonsnake rune in prehevil after all with indicates that the locals are aware of such creature. But if it was a new thing, i would be happy with a monster of the loch ness type of creature. Funilly enough, if fishing ended up really having the chance of trigging a fight(maybe depending on the type of bait you use), that would make fear and hunger a little weird step closer to terraria (enter a dungeon, figh sketeons and soldiers, return home, fight cultist, and then kill the moon god, with some fishing in between each step, of course)

miasma could have a different effect to simulate its bloodlust, rather then having a chance to take you over at certain points its stable the whole game, but to obtain it to begin with you must sacrifice a companion upfront, since that would just require slightly tweeking the grogorath sacrifice

I’m super excited to see the Minotaur as well! Abyssonia is super fascinating to me too of course as the Sun God has Egyptian parallels and the few glimpses we’ve seen of the country hints towards its military being very present in everyday civilian life (as it should be tbh hail Gro-Goroth.)
