Personally, I kind of believe the reason that the man himself gives. Due to Logic still being in a sensitive state without the telelectroscopes, it needed someone to make sure the other forces didn’t intervene. He wouldn’t be able to go on the offensive without leaving Logic wide open for the groups like the Sulfur cult to corrupt or destroy her.

as a Christian I love the biblical references, although this isn't one to one with Christian beliefs but I personally love it, Biblical Horror has this existential and grand feeling similiar to Cosmic Horror, the twist on archetypes like the Devil, Demons, sinners, and the virtuous in this style is always cool to see also, very amazing video, the commentary was excellent and I really love the pacing it was a very fun watch

The woman in the coat is actually a guy. The verbs he uses in Russian indicate he's male. I didn't know at first either, though- which honestly could be a lore tidbit, you can't always tell everything about someone on first appearances.

@@zekeboyer7508 the way i understood it is that the neighbor is saying that someone is asking people if they're home alone, not the player specifically, i think its a way to present the smiling visitor. Maybe in the full game the neighbor plays a bigger role, since this is just the demo, we'll have to wait and see

One thing I find important to note is the message "we need one strong leader“. Emphasis one "one“. The man tries to highlight this, maybe his intent is not just to get the player’s character to sin, but to also make room for a sort of dictatorship where only one person leads everyone else. Maybe he wanted to be that person. Maybe it’s some nicely disguised propaganda. I don’t know which one (if any) it is but it’s very interesting to me. PS: nice video :)

It’s undeniable that there’s been some taking over of All-Mer’s cult by the Sulphur god. But to propose that it was him from the start and that All-Mer never actually came back has a chilling, unimaginable horror to it… so much so that I think it would fit perfectly with this world.

I got so sucked into this game that after it was done, I needed to actively remember that the world isn't actually ending 😅 God damn, the atmosphere is absolutely dismal and depressing. They nailed the apocalypse feeling perfectly.
