Listen Team, here is our strategy. Since we lost 3 out of 4 to Philipsen lets do the same thing so we can give him another win. No breakaways, no attacks , either 2 or multiple attacks coordinated putting pressure on Philipsen team, Nothing of that sit back and drive your winner sprinter to.the finish line. We can’t even use anything over 50mm wheels here in the Southern Ontario region of Windsor-Essex, one is the higher air pressure which makes slow cycling and the winds coming out from everywhere near the lakes, good video here sprints are hot this year!

He's not an all-rounder, not even close to one, which is required to be a GC rider. Sprinters lose heaps of time over big mountain stages since their physique and focus is not on long inclines.

What are the smaller teams line Arkea Astana Israel DSM Cofidis doing? Just taking space. No chance to win a sprint no GC contender. They should attack consistently and trying to get in breakaways. 1, 2 even 3 at the time..putting pressure on big teams. This would make the tour even more interesting. If I were the director I would unleash continously attacks. Nothing to lose. What they don't understand this ? They are taking spaces and not getting any results.

Shame none of the fans respect the local population. The race organisers need to do something about the crazy dangerous amateur cyclists that turn up days before the race and terrorise road users. They must not use the local roads as race tracks. There has been so many near misses. The organisers need to control and educate before the locals have this race banned.

Usually the whole race is together during the flat stages, but get separated a lot during the harder mountain ones. The best mountain climbers compete for the overall win because that's where you gain time. The sprinters target flat stages and the green jersey instead

Phillipson is not a climber to win the GG you have to not loose time in the mountains , often sprinters don't finnish the tour they are to heavy and are timed out on stages. eg climbers weigh at 52 to 54 kg range sprinting requires more power which equates to more weight to carry up mountains .
