I was born in Haiti When Magloire was President and life was good, it was a beautiful island, nice weather, friendly people we lived in Petion-ville my father was a lieutenant in the army and never thought we would ever leave. My parent left in 1957 and emigrated to the US. Now in my 70’s it aches my heart to see the plight of the Haitian people. It is hard to see. Praying 🙏 for all my brothers and sisters to ease their pain and suffering. Amen.

@@MTMF.london How about a smart younger person? 😊 I believe that most (not all) older politicians have been in politics so long that they have become corrupted by lobbyists, self interest groups and their political parties' interest and not for the people and what is morally right.
@MTMF.london3 күн бұрын
@@rcauthen324 Nothing wrong with smart younger persons. But where are they? They don't seem to be too interested in politics and most of them are too cynical or too busy building up their profiles on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok or other social media platforms. More than half of the world's population are under the age of 59. According to the UN, they are the largest demographics with people age between 20-39 taking up 29.9% and those of ages between 40-59 taking up 23.1% of the population. There are more than enough of them to change the political systems that they seem to be so sick of. But they would rather complain or take up causes that are popular "crisis of the day" to protest and create chaos to others than engage in a meaningful and effective way. They generally have the lowest turnout for voting in elections. If you want change, you need to stop bleating while doing nothing. Go and vote out those people whom you think are not representing your interests or run for an elected office yourself. That is the only way for change.
