To be honest, i disagree. Hear me out! Its exousting has to be open and always talk about race and sense of belonging to people dont see an issue. It's a constant burden on people of coulor. Go and educate yourself on the topic the same how i educate myself on antsemetism.

@@jojomae19 her entire personality. I will ask you to go watch the come done with me episode and start with Leanne’s and then the others. She was insufferable. She was given an awful Peice of advice when she became famous “you’ll have to work twice as hard” and she clung on to it and made it her personality. Others had thrived before her. She wasn’t the first black woman on tv. She made herself a victim (which is okay) but don’t be a Martyr also

It's amazing to have Leigh on the podcast. It is great that she is using her platform to raise awareness about race and appearance and mental health. Brilliant that she has written a book! Cheers, Ferne, for getting her on. She is such an empowering woman. 🧡🌺

Hear me out. If Duncan from Blue said he didn’t feel a fan favourite because he was gay. But Blue then performed at a Pride event and he felt the “love”. Would it be fair of him to credit the lack of attention to homophobia? I get she may not have felt a fan favourite and may put that down to the colour of her skin, but the reality is, it’s a numbers game. She demonstrates this. Does it mean that Brazil is a racist country only chanting her name? Of course not.

As a Brasilian, we do have an issue with race differently. After married with a Brit for 18 years, my other half only understood when he went to Brazil with me. The difference is democratic Brazil has a racial democracy under the law. Therefore, we are away more close to white people over there. Here, you are " force" to be with your own race or group. I saw Little Mix in Brazil in Copacabana. I saw how the public embraced her so much. There is a difference in behaviour for real in the grounds of race. There is a racial distance in the UK for real.

The majority of little mix’ fan base are young girls, they are unknown to the majority of the population and even less popular amongst the black community worldwide. It’s hard to believe that young girls rejected Leigh Anne because of her race, the reality is she is beautiful, yes. But her vocal talents are mediocre in comparison to the other group members, I say this as a former little mix fan whose admiration died when Leigh Anne accused Jesy of racism.

LA is mixed cause her parents are. But she has chosen to identify as black. You can't make people love you. You were not the favourite like KR & M were not the fav in DC. Was it more she couldn't handle not being the fav. She is more driven than anyone in the group she is ahead in the solo game doing her tour etc. She is fame hungry as well. I am not saying she hasn't experienced racism but I could see she was loved and how fans reacted to the Jesy drama solidified that.

I think she was just answering the podcaster. True that you can't make people like you but when you were the only one who didn't receive the treatment like the rest of the group, it'll make you think like what's wrong with me. The fact that she's speaking up about this should be heralded because it means that she's addressing her problem.

@@syahmiaiman2470 I think Perrie Jade and Jesy should be commended on how they allowed LA to grow. She is the one who blossomed the most. The other girls were not the problem in terms of letting her shine. which ISNT usually the case. I am not sure about the team. The person who told her she would have to work 10 times harder is partly to blame If LA was in DC instead of Michelle what would she have thought then cause most of thier fans are of colour. Listen not invalidating her feelings but.....I felt they gave each other time to shine on the songs and singing at concerts. Well she has a bigger dilemma now IMHO how she going to cope on a world stage not being the biggest girl in pop rnb or afro beats ...

This is why I left LM??? WHat is she Jesy now. Was the title written by her Stan. Last time I checked they chose to split and I've read where she has talked about a reunion. Perhaps she should speak to Kelly from DC. LA is mixed white and black. Both parents are mixed. Sad she felt that way but was it MAINLY racism or the fact she just was NOT the fav down to taste

It wasn’t about race. She’s in a group of 2 other stunning women - so when we are presented with choice maybe not everyone is gonna appreciate her beauty and not gravitate towards her. you think Tyla, scary spice, temz, doja cat(even though….side eye) etc are worried about this stuff? No because they are subjectively attractive/confident anyways.

@@yoyochante-yo7306 LA was probably the 2nd or even best looking in the group and definitely the fashionesta. Jade was geeky Perrie hippy and Jesy was stunning as well IMHO. Just my opinion. She felt what she felt okay but now she is on a world stage on her own solo. It will be harder. LM brought her so much she may never have had a look in without the group. I'm gonna say when the Jesy drama hit I realised how loved she was.
