I used to be sad that Zara felt a little left out by her peers but I'm so grateful that didn't have to spend more time in that dangerous cesspool. I know that she has said she doesn't really enjoy going to industry parties in LA

All the show business companies should have Ethics Officers and make sure that there are always trustworthy women included in all these situations.

I don't want to know what some female pop stars have gone through in those rooms full of men. I'm thinking of Britney and Kesha to name a few. Even really strong women like Lady Gaga have been abused.

True about the celebrity culture in Sweden, which is almost non-existent. Even the members of ABBA live normal lives in Stockholm. So there’s a completely different vibe around "public figures" as we call them in Sweden. In other words: People who chose to live a public life and you see in the media etc. But in society they’re like ordinary citizens. And if you live in Stockholm (as I do), then it’s normal that you meet public figures on the street, restaurants, in public transport, at the nightclub, in the grocery store and so on. Or even have them as a neighbour. I feel proudly Swedish when I hear you discuss it, because I also think it’s a great culture. At the end of the day, we’re all human beings and I think such a celebrity culture that exists in both UK & US also creates a lot of problems or at least contributes to it. And it’s not doing favour to either the celebrities nor the society. If you’re treating celebrities like animals in a zoo, it will eventually make them lose ground and reflect their own self-image. If you follow them with paparazzi, violate their privacy, spread false rumours etc. It will result in them having to protect themselves from such things, distancing themselves from society and hang out in circles with other celebrities. Which means they’ll lose all connection to reality and live in an inhumane world no human being is made to live in. Which btw is constantly proven with many celebrities starting to suffer from mental illness, drug & alcohol addiction, scandals etc. I think we, the Swedish people, think it's even more important that someone like Zara, who's famous internationally, should be able to return home to Sweden as a free zone to just be able to relax from celebrity life, be a normal person and have her privacy respected. I'm glad to hear that she feels the same way. But that doesn't take away the fact that we support her and feel proud of all her successes around the world. Our Swedish Queen 👸🏼🇸🇪❤️

I am pleased that this conversation with Zara happened. Like you highlighted, Ferne in the crazy world of the music industry having her mum's support and guidance is incredible. Zara seems grounded yet has that outgoing side to own the performance and write songs true to herself 🤍✨️🎤

That is why I believe, if you're going to be in this industry, make sure your family rides with.. I would even say family over friends you 'trust', because when money starts flowing around you, you don't know who will stay, and you might trust them, but do they hold the same value as you. And truly that is why I think Beyonce and Taylor Swift for example are the biggest names in the game and the ones that seem the most mentally stable, their parents are always working with them.. a lot of other have fell into drugs, wrong crowd, horrible relationship, divorce, abuse.. you name it.

She’s had rotten experiences in the music industry, and Sharon Stone said it very well with very few words ”Do you think I was left alone when I look like this?” Then she laughed. She was very on the money with that sentence, because predators in power will not leave attractive people alone, instead they seek them out. Zara’s mom being present helped her loads, but even with her mom being present the industry have sexualized her and pushed her boundaries. Hopefully she hasn’t signed away too much of her autonomy (because legal contracts is one of many ways artists lose control, and many don’t know what they are signing and the clauses within those legal contracts).

I think it shows how desperate people are to have that kind of fame, to sit in a room and let men bring in dancers, just to get that job. I would walk out and say ill speak to you all in a more professional setting when your ready but she clearly wanted to placate these men.

@@flowersandperfume355well if they assaulted (or attempted) her then there's something wrong with it. And if they didn't assault her there's nothing wrong with it. That's how the law is supposed to work. If you do bad things there should be repercussions. If you don't do bad things there should be no repercussions. Or are you suggsting men are guilty just by being in a room with a woman?
