I was on a rugby tour with my club about two years ago in New Zealand and the last team we played performed the haka before our match and I can tell you personally that I never felt so intimidated in my life, watching it on TV is one thing, watching it from 20 meters away is bone chilling experience you'll never forget, kiwis are not to be messed with

With all the comments that have been said about the haka I am Maori ,and it's just tradition for the abs it's been going for at least a 100yrs and haka was performed way before the abs were formed , when the nz natives rugby Maori team ,Maori rugby is older then all blacks rugby which toured Aussie and Europe in the 1880s so don't hate the haka all because it's tradition

Congratulations New Zealand, I am Australian but we are both on same side of the world and sisters and brothers. When either of us face others we support each other but when we meet each other we both want to win. Love the Haka and yes I have some understanding of what it means, brilliant. I only wish Australia integrated with Aboriginal native owners as well as NZ did with Maori culture.. Lesson to be learnt by the world there.

This is awesome, I'd like to know what does it mean. I've seen some translations around, but this one is different from the others.

+Fernando Fernandez This one is the Kapa O Pango I think, you can find what it means just google it. It's the Haka for the All Blacks. I dunno exactly what it is I'm Aussie. The other one is the New Zealand national Haka the Ka Mate.

+Matt Silva Teams that are worthy opposition to the ABz get Kapa O Pango, where as other teams will get Ka Mate.

The guy to the left of the two with headbands should be in front. He looks like he's seconds from ripping out my heart with his bare hands and eating it, which in this case I think means that he nailed it.
