About 8 years ago I used to work at Red Rock for 6 years total. These people have a tendency to do it right, a very solid company. I used to enjoy my employee discount at the buffet.

@@oopsyfrombullettown6771 employees do receive one free meal per shift in the employee dining room. IF you come in on your own time and were to eat at any of the outlets you got an employee discount. I believe it was like 20% off on your bill.

This was fun to watch. Love Red Rock but have never tried the buffet. I'll have to check it out next time I'm there. Reading these comments after watching you I realize that everybody has a buffet game plan. Lol. Mine is walk the entire line scouting for what looks good and then start at one end with two plates. I usually end up using one of the plates for the crap I don't like so the waitress can whisk it away like it never happened. Hahaha. The third plate is a concentration of all of the stuff I really liked. The fourth plate is a very small sampling of dessert items.

Have always rented a car in LV. All the buffets are cheaper Off-Strip. I'm not paying Strip prices. We figure we save enough on eats in a week it almost pays for the car plus we get out & around way more. I have no problem driving anywhere. Can't think of any casinos in LV we haven't been in by now. All the Station Casinos have the same Feast buffets. Sam's Town, Orleans & South Point are good too.

Kona Grill has a tempura roll called the Las Vegas Roll and it is awesome. Tastes like a crab rangoon with eel sauce, very good. Not sure if they have a Kona Grill in Las Vegas though, never looked.

Looks like Red Rock are using the buffet as a lost leader to attract people in from the strip. The price, selection and the quality are pretty damn good. I’m definitely going to check it out next time I’m in Vegas.
