The greatest thing I’ve ever done or could do is be a mom. ❤ I adopted both of my kids from foster care and they are the best I could’ve hoped for ❤❤ I’m 47 and my kids are now 25 and 19 so I look forward to being a Nana one day ❤ In regards to jobs, I hope I’ve been great and helped people when I was a substance abuse counselor, an elementary teacher, and now an advocate for abused and neglected children. 🙏

Another home-run homily, Father Mike! God bless you and your students who bring us this blessed Mass. I'm praying for my late roommate Patricia, who died on Jan. 18. She didn't leave a will that we know of so it goes into probate and everything is unsettled. She wanted to be buried with her family in Baltimore but it's expensive to fly a body from Florida to Maryland. Please pray we raise the money through Go Fund Me so she, her late husband, and two deceased children may all be laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery there. Father mentioned it at the end of mass, but what we did yesterday was the blessing of the throats, to have done the candle mass would’ve been amazing. Our regular pastor is out of town for five weeks and boy do we miss him hopefully he comes back next week can’t tell you how much we miss him? We had a priest from another parish. I wish he would’ve told us his name, but he did the blessing of the throats. And I certainly made sure that I got mine blessed because I have thyroid cancer. We thought it was taken care of last June but the only positive thing that’s come out of it is I’m thinner than I’ve ever been in my life, but I don’t care about that because I’m also sicker than I’ve ever been in my life.. But yes, we did the blessing of the throats and to anyone who is suffering from any type of disease of the throat or is having a really bad winter with their sinuses and stuff doesn’t sound like the stuff for prayer, but it really is. It only takes a minute to get it done and it brought me some peace and perhaps it will bring some to you too. I don’t expect it to make it all go away, but I’m not gonna pass up on the opportunity to help it get better after all, God loves us and sees us and knows us. Your homily was incredibly good. And of course you had that final hook when you reminded us that we were being called to be saints.

I like that thing Fr. Mike says between 14:01 & 14:17, about our purpose in life is to be great. Makes me think about Paul's letter to the Galatians on Life in relationship with Jesus Christ. Gal. 5: 1-5. Also makes me think about the most important part of religious life: Duty to live in the Light, which is obedience to the religious Vocation priests and nuns who help you stay in your Vocation. What if that fallen angel has made one to follow him and not god, thus changing our world and PLP , do we fight for justice don’t we do anything to help god do we leave it ALL in gods hands , those are a lot of questions but this is a different moment we can’t just give up and do nothing if say you work in justice, you fight for justice no?

Regularly, like today, Mike circumvents commentary on the specified scriptural Mass readings by substituting an abstract agenda. Sometimes it seems as if Mike’s merely “phoning it in” … or he quotes obscure O.T. passages that are unrelated and only make sense to him. What did a friend say about Jesus/Ministry: … used to show Love, now just punching the clock for work …

Struggling to find purpose in this world,…..and it’s been said that God will never force anything but give us freedom to choose……so I wish he could explain why someone like myself, who never would have chosen to be gay, finds that God says NO to marriage, says NO to priesthood, virtually FORCES a life alone! Consecrated single life is even FORCED upon anyone like myself. I was raised to believe the Catholic church was the one true church…..but the doors are not open or welcoming to me! So I watch the mass here online, once in awhile still wondering what’s the point….what’s the purpose.

Ummm, let's start from the top. What you preached is exceedingly nice, yes, but it's not actually accurate. Especially the sacrifice as Moses told us to do part....that was so way friggin off the mark it hit Iberia. It's actually, "Sacrifice as Christ told us to do"...cause we're Catholic Christians. Christ will always say to be yourself and to do the will of the Father--the will which Christ will inform you of in prayer--in persona christi prayer, most specifically. How do you get into Persona Christi prayer? The easiest answer: you align your frequency to love; to Christ; to the resonance of His voice. The more you stay in it, the more you hear. It's really not terribly difficult. A saint is someone who hears (in persona christi) and does as Christ directs. If you're not hearing Christ and doing as He guides you to do, you aren't a saint. It's a very simple thing, you either do or you don't, you either are or you ain't, that's it. The Elohim are not Christ's Father. Nor are the Elohim singular. To call the Elohim singular is a backwards arsed lie that's been told since the day polytheism became a shameful thing in history. The Elohim are plural and always have been. They are the powerful ones of El (El was a god in both the Mesopotamian and the Canaanite pantheons. The Hebrew arose from the Southern quarter of the Canaanites. Look at their language. Hebrew is a Canaanite language, for the love of flared bull nostrils. It's very well known that the Hebrews were polytheistic before they were monotheistic, so, I ask you, who were the gods they worshipped before they became monotheistic? I'll give you one guess. And, here's a hint...their names are in the Hebrew text of the Old Testament. It's really not that hard to figure out once you spin some truth into your common sense.
