Because I have a full household. 8 people at most. I instead made a more creamie stew, and add carrots and potatoes to the Mushroom stew as well as the diced tomatoes. My family enjoyed it. Thanks for conjuring this up for me to use :D

*I JUST MADE THIS* If you are planning to make this, read this to learn from some of my mistakes before you do so. First of all, I put in too much white wine vinegar. I put in about a splash and it was still too much. It effected the taste which i'll talk about later. If you are planning on adding some tomatoes, don't too much, only maybe between 1/4 and 2/4 (1/2) of the can, because it sort of overthrew the taste of the mushroom, along with the extra white wine vinegar. Also, I would add some sort of stock instead of the water, to make it more flavourful. Other than that, the stew was absolutely delicious. 8/10 would make again.

Wine works well to deglaze, or even better you could use balsamic vinegar. It's not at acidic as the white wine vinegar and you can let it reduce a bit to give deep flavor.

Anastasia Rose oh my god thank you I almost made the same mistake it tastes delicious now. Extra tip add a vegetable or chicken bouillon block! It'll make the broth more flavorful

I approve the swedish flare, but, we don't make klimp that way, we just mix flour and water and salt to a thick batter then add that to boiling water or soup. Or at the very least we do that in the north of Sweden.

August Crawford The red mushrooms are based off of a mushroom in real life that, as Brendan said, are poisonous. Not to mention that, I THINK, red mushrooms actually did damage when eaten at first.

LOL!. This is great. I will make my own prolly omitting a few things. I will use crimini or portabella. Since I hunt mushrooms in the wild I can use the red muscaria (I know how to cure it so it's not dangerous). But it was smart not to use that heheh. I will change the rosemary to thyme for that savory taste, and use white wine rather than wine vinegar. But I love what you guys are doing, please do more. Thanks!

so i made this for dinner tonight, and it was absolutely incredible! the dumplings were soft and fluffy, the mushrooms were juicy, and they both absorbed the flavours of the rosemary, garlic and onions. its very hearty too, thanks to the sour cream mixture . my family and i scarfed it down with a side of garlic bread. it went down perfectly. plus i made a huge batch so now we have dinner for days. ty so much for this recipe! ! (lol also this video was released when i was like 6)
