Ever since I saw that episode of Korra I was wanting those noodles! :O So last night (before I looked up this video, whoops) I bought some spinach egg-noodles and had them in a creamy garlic alfredo sauce with shrimp cooked in lemon & butter. I had far too much to eat and the family stole the rest of it... So next time I should have some of THESE water tribe style noodles instead!

I have to say you've got me addicted to those noodles. They're so simple, easy, and very yummy!!! I just made some for dinner, but instead of the fish broth I made a coconut milk curry sauce (mildly spicy) and it was just perfect X3 Thanks for the great recipe!!! XD

You could make this even easier(and a bit closer to the asian influence of Avatar) by substituting a Dashi broth. You can even keep the seaweed element if you make it from scratch using Kombu. A bit more obtuse to gather ingredients for, but piss-easy to make if you have them, I've heard.

For those of you who have celiac like I do and are having trouble with the dough (while trying to make a gluten free version of this), here's a little something that I learned that may helped you -- Gluten Free flour is much drier than most flours and can be a hassle to make dough out of with little water. What I did was add the 3/4 cup of water, and then filled a cup up with water and gradually added in/eyeballed what I needed as I mixed my dough. It went a little something like ' add in water, stir dough, add in water, stir dough, etc' until the dough finally formed a ball shape. It may be sticky with the water but remember as you're adding the flour that it's still very dry, so add in little bits at a time! I hope that this may have helped!
