When you are installing the inlet lever spring put the carb and your hands into a large clear plastic bag. When the spring takes off it is in the bag.

...It's been a long time since I've took this apart... It's a good idea to temporarily reassemble intricate but quick "put togethers" so the order of assembly / disassembly can quickly be refreshed. Probably less than a couple of minutes to loosely reassemble things and it could save you tens of minutes and frustration if your delayed ny getting parts are other interruptions. Most frustrating part of waiting on parts is the lag between disassembly and assembly and this solves that issue of forgetting the order and part placements. I'm almost 70 so I can hardly do this any other way. Only other option is to review a video of others or myself doing the disassembly. Quicker though to just put it back together if it has to set idle for a while. Time in a parts cleaner is almost enough to make me lose my place. Gosh knows if I have to wait a week or two before reassembly.

I watched a video about old windshield wipers that didn't work well so he sprayed them with WD-40 to make the rubber pliable to make them work again. Do you think it would work on a diaphragm?

It does not. You can SLIGHTLY recover ones that are still mostly pliable with ATF or brake fluid but mostly it is a waste of time.

Where do you source the Carb kit???Everyone wants to sell me a complete Carb. Is there a part number for the kit???

I get my kits from eBay. You just order the one for the carb # you have. Sometimes you have to look at the pump stage shape to determine what kit will fit. That and the diaphragm shape is what tells you if it will fit generally

​​@@calvinirby8219 the Choke is different on this model where when the primer bulb is pressed it moves the whole brimmer bulb assembly down which in turn presses the choke to the on position. As soon as some one presses the trigger it causes the bulb assembly to move up which switches off the choke.
