Erwan don't mind his appearance in his vlog. He carries a big shoulder bag as he walked all around the market with his hair unnoticed. Yan ang totoong gwapo, wapakels sa itsura, basta gwapo, gwapo talaga..

Muchas gracias Erwan & FEATR for featuring Cavite City again! Adobong Seca is my Mama's and the Kare' is my Papa's specialties... the Pats' pianono and creme puff is my childhood favorites... and of course the Bibingkoy is the all time favorite of the whole family! You make me more proud for being a true blood Caviteňa! ❤

My known ancestor, Datu Kalun is actually from Cavite, and later migrated to Lamitan, Basilan in Mindanao. I am really surprised and in awe that Chavacano is also spoken in some parts of Cavite and not just in Zamboanga and Basilan. Filipino culture is indeed amazing.

Kudos Erwan, for digging and researching some aspects of Cavite City's food culture and history (of course, with the help of your great resource person (Ige Ramos)). For me, this is such a great travel down to memory lane (born, grew up in Cavite City and lived there until my early 40s). A big thank you!!! ❤💙💚

Thanks for this video on Cavite and its rich history including food history. I was born in Bayan Luma, Cavite and grew up in Imus. My grandparents and their children, my mom cook all of these food specialities like the kalamays, unique homemade longganisa, unique dry adobo, and so much more. This video brings so much nostalgia. Grateful!❤

My mom is from Cavite City and she would make us panic lug lug. It had vegetables like a typical pancit but it also has the palabok sauce. I have never seen it or had it anywhere else nor does anyone I know make it that way. I am in the US so maybe if I went to the PI, I would find it, who knows. Thank you for doing the food tour with us. I don't know how you don't gain weight. Mr Ramos, thank you for your dedication and continued pursuit to educate us about Filipino cuisine...

I was born and partly raised in Cavite City until I migrated here in the US. I remember going to the main source where Aling Ika cooks her dishes that she will serve for the day. “ E. Mariano St. “ in San Roque almost every other day I would go there to buy my breakfast. Trust me, I know all their menu because she’s just my neighbor. Her cook “Mang Reny Pekto” was also my next door neighbor.
