Mate, I really enjoy your videos and have learnt a fair few tips and tricks. My only gripe is that you have to cut the scene to actually carry out the job, I think you'd give your viewers an even better experience if you had both hands free whilst using a head camera. Kind regards 😊

Nice work. Another step-by-step explained well. Do you use seam rollers, and would you recommend using one?

Thank you and it depends on the paper, some papers do require one. ,

Any advice for coming back the next day and seeing lines that weren't there before I left?
@PaintingandDecorating Жыл бұрын
Possible change of light, or it's part of the design. Papers can have faults though, difficult to say without seeing .

Get a straight edge against Yr paper wen trimming come on,sheers not siccors, job job mate looks mint

Don't like a straight edge really, free hand if I've an edge to work to. But cheers mate thanks

I just find if u don't use a edge paper can sometimes cut badly,but olfa knife and blades are best goin and way to go
@MARTIN-pm7qc Жыл бұрын
@@darrenhirst6163 the secret is if you aren't going to use a straight edge, then a high quality snap knife and blade (olfa)... snap blade off for every cut! but dont cut thru the paper! like he did , u could see the tears! gentle run the blade over the paper, with enough force to score it but dont cut thru...then lift and pull the score line away...perfect cut every time...this guy never been trained by a pro....i could train him but would take 5 years ..

Looks a mess to be honest..round window paper was bubbling..u used a water mix paste on paste the wall! top decs don't do that! needs a ready mixed adhesive applied to the wall..that's why its called "paste the wall"...if u paste the back of the paper with a water mixed paste some of the lengths can take 30 mins to put on, as in your 1st drop...so the paper has been soaking 30 mins at least, your pattern will stretch due to over soaking, its a basic error u have made....also never seen a top dec clean down with a rag!! .....iv 25 years in the trade, doing high class work around london...this job wouldn,t pass! actually i wouldnt be able to do it that bad...you have the right ideas, but need retraining, Dulux do courses...u also need a straight edge to trim with, u were jagging the paper trying to do it free hand....all in all..shocking
