Make sure that you take care of yourself and your mother first. The orchids can wait. Both of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for sharing this video. Glad to hear you are recovering. I often worry about leaving my orchids when I have health issues but have to agree that they are more resistant than we give them credit for. It’s even surprising that your outdoor orchids survived the extreme weather conditions in your region, I’ve been hearing how hot it’s been. Anyway, hope you continue to do well in your recovery from surgery and life can get back to some kind of normal.

Thank you so much for watching... I was so concerned about losing some of them, and then so relieved everything was fine. HOT is an understatement - we’ve been triple digits for weeks. Health issues have been more frequent as I have aged along with my parents who are in their late 80’s. Definitely makes me appreciate the healthy times even more.

Thank you - staples out on Thursday, so it is bound to get better after that! I’ll be rockin’ the headband fashion for awhile longer, though.
