He say he is not muslim. He is a hindu. When he treated ram from venom he bow down at the symble of lord shiva and ram see him that moment. Ram realised right there that he is not muslim he is a hindu

That's holy thread wearing by some hindus. But he lied to raju that he is muslim. But when raju first seeing him to go to the shiv temple & 2ndly seeing him wearing that holy thread he found out that he is not muslim but hindu. That's why raju was shocked.

The reference to RAM & SITA and RAVANA --- is picked from the Indian Epic Tale the RAMAYANA. Ram and Sita are prayed as God & Goddess in the Indian Epic. The festival of Diwali is in honour of their return to the kingdom after 14 years. Ravana was a wicked Demon who had taken away Sita from Ram. He was killed in a long battle that was fount between India and Lanka (Sri Lanka or Ceylon). To Indians RAM & SITA are legendary characters and thus their strong reference in HINDUISM. Yeah those high pitch vocals really help sell the emotional drama during the garden fight. If an american movie tried to do something similar to this in their fight scenes it would just feel corny or weird but somehow both bollywood and tollywood movies just make it work.

Eating on floor is common habit in India. It doesn't indicate hinduism or muslims .we also believe that is the important and sweet time all members in the family sit together and eat together. Commonly during that period and now days also economically the lower people don't have dining setup, so they eat on sitting on the floor.

Well actually it is Hindu culture. Ayurveda dictates that one should sit on the floor and eat with their hands to aide in proper digestion. Akhtar is supposed to be playing a Muslim character yet a rudimentary forms of a Janeu (holy thread that all Hindus are called to wear), bowed before the Shivaling whilst getting the datura which no Muslim would do and identify himself as coming from the Gond clan whom are historically and currently, Hindu. Basically in this scene he is outing that he is in fact not a Muslim as his name would dictate, but rather a Hindu.

Eating on the floor is common in hinduism.. the name akhtar is a muslim name and he was living with a muslim family.. Thats why he told he is not muslim instead his name is bheem he is from gond tribe community
