- El director S. S. Rajamouli es un gran fan de Mel Gibson. En RRR hay guiños de escenas de varias de sus películas (Corazón Valiente, El Patriota [Ram de niño disparando a sus enemigos] y La Pasión de Cristo [la iconografía cristiana en la flagelación de Bheem]). - A Bheem le hace gracia que la prometida de Ram se llame Seetha, ya que la mujer de Lord Rama, arquero legendario de la India (tocayo de Raju) que era la séptima encarnación del dios Vishnú, también se llamaba Seetha (como que le haya dicho que se llama Romeo, y su novia, Julieta). - En la batalla en el bosque, Ram y Bheem comienzan a "obtener superpoderes" después de que Bheem reza frente a la imagen de Lord Rama y le viste a Ram igual que este dios. A partir de ahí Ram es "poseído" por la energía de Lord Rama, y Bheem por la del dios Hanuman (mejor amigo de Lord Rama). La letra de la canción de éstas escenas describe las virtudes de éstos dioses, no de Raju y Bheem como personas. - En la escena en la que Bheem lleva en sus hombros a Raju, replican lo que Hanuman hizo por su amigo Rama en la epopeya hindú Ramayana de los dioses. - La escena en donde Bheem zarandea una moto, no es tan imposible porque era un modelo ligero de motocicleta que había en 1920 que pesaba poco para ser cargado fácilmente por soldados.
